Street Art City Detroit: Graffiti, Urban Renewal, and the Formation of Identity

I will be participating in a panel discussion at the CASL building (College of Arts Science and Letters), located on the University of Michigan, Dearborn campus. The topic will be, Street Art City Detroit: Graffiti, Urban Renewal, and the Formation of Identity.

University professors Nadja Rottner and Liz Rohan will be the panel moderators. Besides myself, other panelists will include graffiti writer Freddy Diaz, curator and artist Matt Eaton of the Library Street Collectiveand photographer and youth developer Erik Howard of The Alley Project, in southwest Detroit.

The event starts at 6:30pm, on March 25th, 2014. The College of Arts Science and Letters building is located within the campus on Richard Dr. Directions here.

 Arrive early, the parking lot fills quickly, and spots can be at a premium.
