Cell Phone Chronicles

After a month long stay in the American West, I'm finally made my way back to the icy roads of Michigan. The trip, a one month, 4,200 mile roundtrip sojourn to Carefree, Arizona and back, was all about family.

For the majority of the trip, my camera never saw the light of day, opting instead to use my cell phone whenever a moment presented itself. Here are a few for starters. Consider this a substitute for all the 5 day "challenges" that are making there way across the social media landscape.

  1. I've always been intrigued to drive through the west. Flying to Las Vegas, New York, Florida, etc...I could care less. I bet a drive-thru trip like this can be a life changing experience in many ways. Looks like a great time, and as always, great photo's Tom. Hope all is well.

    1. Hey Mick, thanks. Good to hear from you, it's been a long time. Yes, any kind of travel has the potential to change the way we look at the world, and in the process, the way you look at yourself. I've made that cross country trip about 5 times now, and it never gets old. It's always good to find your comfort zone, then get as far away from it as possible. Email me when you get the chance with your current contact info. You can find it on my website. Peace brother.
