Close Encounters

This is Jermaine, who was riding his bike on the grounds of the now abandoned Packard Motor Co. test track on the city of Detroit's east side. He was extremely shy, but eager to have his picture taken. When I look at this photograph, there exists no visual reference of what we normally consider when thinking of the urban landscape.
