Cardiovista: Detroit Street Photography is curated and organized by Nadja Rottner, Assistant Proffesor of Art History, University of Michigan-Dearborn, together with students enrolled in the Art History Museum Studies Seminar 2014. Under the direction of Professor Rottner, the students have studied and researched the photographers included in the exhibition, and upon completion of the class will help curate the exhibit and write essays pertaining to their work. The student essays will be included in the exhibition catalog. To help facilitate the essays, each photographer lectured before the class to talk about their work and provide resource material to aid them in their research.
