The New Deluxe Bakery was a small independent bakery in Hamtramck. Owned by Macedonian immigrants Steve and Rose Gjorgjeski since 1986, the bakery has closed its doors since this photograph was taken. Although they still own the building, Steve and Rose decided to close up shop after husband Steve was warned by his doctors to slow down because of health issues.
