Looking back to 2010. Here are some photographs I took while working on the Ice House Project with it's creators, Greg Holm and Matthew Rodine. The house was located at 3920 McClellan Street on the cities east side. At the time, the public at large was clueless as to the whereabouts of the house. For the most part, only locals where aware of the installations address. This was cool because it tempered the hype while we were building it, and it allowed local residents who lived in the neighborhood to fully enjoy it for themselves. I made a habit of documenting some of the people who would stop by everyday; the overwhelming majority of them loved it, and would come by day after day to see it's progress. Here are a few portraits from then.
